Renata Pereira earned a Masters degree in music at São Paulo University (USP) supported by a FAPESP scholarship. She is graduated at the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná (EMBAP) at Helcio Müller recorder class. She attended many festivals and had classes with Ricardo Kanji, Pierre Hamon, Hans Joachin Fuss, Vichetty Von Herrera and others. In 2003 she is graduated using the Suzuki Method for recorder with Katherine White in the USA. In 2005 she was a finalist at the Furnas Geração Musical contest and recorded a track in the Furnas Geração Musical CD. She is currently in the middle of her Ph.D. music program at the University of São Paulo.
